October 27 Municipal Elections
The elections are finally over! After working the Vaughan polls for 13 INTENSE and exhausting hours I managed to make my way over to Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua's victory party at the Riviera Parque. With 25+ years political experience, 4 of them as leader of this incredible city, Vaughan will continue to be in good hands Congratulations to all re-elected and elected Regional and Ward Councillors.... a great team once again.
*Thanks Luca Viorel and YOUR AD ONLINE for some of these great candid shots!

A special congratulations to my friend Councillor Sandra Yeung Racco who following 11years with the City of Vaughan has been re-election as Ward 4 Councillor. An extremely skilled politician, I had the chance to witness another one of Sandra's great talents...flipping burgers at her BBQ Campaign Launch!!

November 11 Remembrance Day
I couldn’t believe the record attendance at the 2014 Remembrance Day Service in Vaughan. Some said the high turnout was due to the warm weather. However, I think following the tragic deaths of Corporal Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent we’re reacquainting ourselves with Remembrance Day and recognizing its importance.
