It's now official....I am a BRRRRRRRRRRUTAL soccer player!! Without going into the scary details I want to thank Mattia Bello for asking me to play in the match Vaughan Media VS Vaughan Politicians  Even though they had me on their team, Vaughan Media WAS the winner!!! Thanks for the shin pads, Rob Lorusso....and the socks.

August 10 Woodbridge Ribfest 

It was a meat-lovers paradise at the Woodbridge Ribfest!! Organized by the Rotary Club of Woodbridge the annual Ribfest is a fun-filled weekend of food, games, rides and vendors. I just love community STUFF  

*For the last 55 years the Rotary Club of Woodbridge has been doing its part to help make Vaughan a better place to be - whether it's building a park bench, sending students to camp, or supporting local charities and community groups. It also supported projects worldwide such as the fight to eliminate polio from the world, and the rebuilding of Haiti.

I made a new friend at Woodbridge Ribfest...and a bossy one too!! When I asked this Louisiana Ribber for a quarter chicken and some vegetables he answered, "Honey, ya ain't gettin' no quarter chicken. Yer gettin' a half chicken. And do I look like someone who'd give ya vegetables??!!!!!" Hahaaaa!! Still laughing  



August 16 - Dodge4Diabetes 
"WOW" is the only word to describe the amazing diabetic desserts I enjoyed at Dolcini in Kleinburg! Benefiting the Canadian Diabetes Association the Dodge4Diabetes fundraiser was an fun-filled day of dodgeball, entertainment, raffles and special desserts. Congrats to organizers Kleinburg Leo Club and Dolcini by Joseph on a job well done.
